Author: Invcrip
Subject: 12660
Posted: 13 Oct 2019 at 6:02pm

Hello guys, I need some help.

My motherboard is Asrock z77 Extreme4. I have been using 2x4gb ram and recently I got 2 extra 2x4gb to increase my total ram to 16gb. I bought the same model and latency. The model is: G-skill DDR3 2133.

So, my pc doesn?™t detect 16gb, I tried lots of different configurations and It always detects 8gb. I tried one slot with old ram and another slot with new ram and it works, so it seems that is not a compatibility problem.

If I access the bios configuration, I can see at the system browser that detects all 4 slots. However, they are only working 2 slots which are connected in A2+B2 slots. It seems that if I plug 4 slots at the same time, A1+B1 are not working.

Any solutions? Than you very much
