So just the ES board he used in his first review had T-Top.
Could be seen as an indicator, that the topology is not so important for Zen2.

Regarding the PCB layout, a better placement for the chipset and the USB 3.2 Gen1 Header would give a higher benefit as T-Top anyway...

The Asrock X570 Taichi is known as one of the very few boards with T topology, like the X370 and X470 Taichi. The pictures doesn't show all.
And the QVL shows some 3600MHz RAM DS modules for 4 DIMM configurations.
I think, the "manual recommending pairs A2, B2 for 2 DIMMs" is the standard print in all manuals.

The general consensus, based on pre-release pictures from around June is that the Taichi connects the DIMM slots in parallel. See Buildzoid's analysis:

I'm looking at the high quality pic from overclock.net:

and it's really unclear to me at this point whether we're dealing with a serial or parallel configuration.
