I have the same problem. Got 2 SATA 3TB drives. After running Polychrome app and PC restart both partitions are lost. Fortunately Diskgenius recovers them.

Did you check for an update of the SW?
Polychrome 2.0.28 (as of 10/23/2019)
RGB Controller firmware to 3.4 (will be flashed by Polychrome)

Hi, before i start i have to mention that i have an 5700xt (pulse) and we know how buggy the drivers are... and can't change the card to test if this happens with other model but maybe it doesn't have anything to do with the card.

Well, keeping Polychrome open for lets say 2 days, the chance for me to get a black screen + system feeze are very likely on the third day and forward. Without the app opened i can be free of black screens for weeks (it does happen from time to time but i know is amd-driver related).

Does anyone have the same problem? i know the rgb users are a minority but stil..


Another thing, WHY opening this app has to wake up and do a checkup on all the sata drives? I have 3 of them mostly in sleep mode and just opening the app makes them spin up and do some spin up test-like sound and some grinding sound like checking the hdd condition for a few seconds.
