I figured it out.

when running my task manager, in the background tasks there was a task called "lighting services"..... when I ended it... the asrock polychrome software worked without any error.

Along with the Asrock polychrome software, I also use G.skill trident lighting control, Cooler master rgb control. It appears that one of them may be conflicting with the asrock software working.

When I open up my other lighting controls, no task called "lighting services" seems to appear now... but if you experience a similar issue... scroll the background processes in your task manager, and look for something that may relate to another rgb led lighting control, and try to end it. I had the same thing happen to me. Hi there. I have a Taichi x470 and have been using the asrock polychrome rgb led software for quite some time. All of a sudden one day it just stopped working. I currently have version 1.0.60 installed.

When I try to open it, I get the error: Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000.

sometimes I get different error codes when I try to open it. For example this one: Access violation at address 00622674 in module 'AsrPolychromeRGB.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFEC.

Sometimes it immediately crashes and won't open at all.

Any Suggestions ?? Thanks...
