Right it's to bad. I suppose wonder if blocking/disabling the WIFI in the OS while leaving the it enabled in BIOS will proive MB BT without WIFI. I think it is because of the combined Wifi/BT hardware.
The bios should grey out BT if Wifi is disabled in my opinion.
Enable both in the bios and under the OS BT should be available and you can disable/deactivate Wifi/WLAN in the connection control.

I have the problem the other way round: I do not want both Wifi and BT (at least this time).
I cannot enable/disable BT in the bios, only enable/disable Wifi. Under the OS, BT always is available...

I'm running on a x570 Steel Legend but have seen the same situation will all MBs with integrated Wifi and BT. When Wifi is disabled and BT enabled in BIOS, BT isn't detected.
