Bluetooth requires drivers and utilities to manage the connection, neither of which are available in the BIOS.<br /><br />If you want to use your BT keyboard in the bios, you cannot use the onboard BT.<br />If you find a "Bluetooth USB Dongle" that is able to provide USB HID support (aka "HID Proxy"), then you may be in luck, otherwise, I'd suggest it's not possible.<br /><br />HID Proxy mode works by running a minimal Bluetooth stack on the dongle - it then enumerates as a USB "Human Input Device" instead of a "Bluetooth Radio"... this minimal stack is able to communicate with a paired keyboard / mouse, and interpret their input such that as far as the PC knows, a basic wired USB input device is connected.<br />]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=14271">Ultranium</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12753<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27 Oct 2019 at 7:51pm<br /><br />I have a X570 Taichi motherboard and a Surface Ergonomic Bluetooth keyboard.<br /><br />Since the motherboard has onboard Bluetooth, I thought the keyboard could be used in UEFI too, but it doesn't seem to be working until Windows is loaded.<br /><br />Is there any way to make it work? I have HDD passwords set in BIOS so I have to enter them on each boot, and the only way for it now is to have a separate corded keyboard, this is very inconvenient.]]>
