In this board it cannot reach 3200 even with tCL 20 and other timings extra loose.<br /><br />I think this board is broken with dual rank ram, don't know if electrically or BIOS related.<br /><br />If somebody from AsRock is reading this please can you check and confirm?]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=10162">Ray62</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12766<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 30 Oct 2019 at 6:36am<br /><br />3000Mhz with a CL14 timing is a good setting for this RAM.<br />Remember, this is dual ranked RAM with a higher electrical load compared to single ranked and you have a 2600 CPU which is designed for max. 2933 MHz RAM clock.<br />If you will be able to reach 3200Mhz with increased timings, the result probably ends in a lower performance compared to this CL14 timing at 3000MHz.<br /><br />BTW:<br />There is a dependency for tCL (CAS) to GearDown mode.<br />If GearDown mode is enabled, only even tCL values are valid, so it will be rounded up to the next even value.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=14305">marsovac</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12766<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29 Oct 2019 at 11:11am<br /><br />I have a memory problem with Ryzen 2600.<br /><br />It cannot even run stock XMP that has default to CAS15, if i fiddle with timing I can get it to work but at 3000Mhz max and not a bit more, but at that 3000MHz it works at CAS14 instead of the declared 15 and all timings tightened.<br /><br />Seems there is a memory problem with the board that it won't run past 3000 Mhz.<br />Curently I would call it: Faul1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac :)<br /><br />Modules are 2 double sided 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX sticks for 32GB in total with Hynix AFR chips.<br /><br />They are not in the memory QVL for Pinnacle ridge but I see there is one DS module that supports 3200, so it should also be able to work like that: ADATA AX4U3200316G16-SGZ<br /><br />These Corsair modules worked with XMP timings and 3200Mhz exceptionally well in the Intel z270 i7 7700K system.<br /><br />Can somebody help me to get to 3200?<br />Or can support improve memory compatibility in a future BIOS?<br /><br /><br />Typhoon says:<br /><br />DRAM Manufacturer: Hynix<br />DRAM Components: H5AN8G8NAFR-TFC<br /><br />Here are my CAS14 stable settings with all timings tighter than stock XMP:<br />Despite being able to lower timing I am not able to go above 3000Mhz.
