Hello,

I currently am a happy owner of an ASRock X99 Extreme4 motherboard, and I want to purchase an E5-1660v3 CPU to use with it.

I noticed though, that in the CPU list the E5-1660v3 is not stated as being compatible:

Is there a reason for why CPUs like the E5-1680v3 and E5-1660v4 are listed as compatible, but the 1660v3 is not? Does that mean:

A) The E5-1660v3 was tested by ASRock and is not compatible with the X99 Extreme4
B) The E5-1660v3 *might* work with the X99 Extreme4, but that config just hasn't been tested by ASRock
C) Other?
