Last week the ARGB lights were turning off properly after a shutdown, but after reinstalling Windows 10 and Polychrome to use different colors they just stay on after I shutdown. I'm still using bios 1.8 and haven't updated bios since January 2019. My saved profiles were working before. I have already tried using the Polychrome version on the CD and the most recent downloaded version.

Is it safe to install a newer bios with the second generation Ryzen?
Is there anything else I can do?
I don't know how to fix it after trying some changes in the bios.
