As per this page regarding the Z390 Taichi, you should be good with that BIOS revision.

Hello, I will be swapping my 8700k to a 9900ks on my Z390 Taichi 4.20 Bios and im wondering if there is anything special i have to do? Do i need to reinstall windows? reinstall BIOs? or just swap it out and put my BIOs to default?
