It looks like one my case fans is running at fixed speed, regardless of DC or PWM mode selected. Perhaps for the best, then there is always air flow through the case.

    Author: johmut
Subject: 13184
Posted: 17 Dec 2019 at 3:04pm

Hi,
I have a X570 mini ITX TB3 Phantom Gaming motherboard and an NZXT H210i case. I have connected the case fans (3-pin Aero F120 'case' edition) to the MB headers CPU_FAN2 and CHA_FAN3, the AIO is connected to CPU_FAN1.
The top case fan RPM (when tested) can be controlled. The back case fan's not (much) ? Are the MB headers auto-detecting ? Since the fans are 3-pin, I suppose they can only be DC controlled. Should I change this in BIOS ?
Thx & KR
