Is it possible to cut off just the M.2 portion of the cover so the rest of the Asrock cover/fan could remain in place?]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=14792">Shirva33</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 13208<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 19 Dec 2019 at 1:31pm<br /><br />Hello,<br /><br />ASRock x570 Steel Legend motherboard<br /><br />Storage = Corsair Force MP600 m.2 2280 1 TB Gen4  (https://www.newegg.com/corsair-force-mp600-1tb/p/N82E16820236548)<br /><br />GPU = EVGA RTX 2070 Super XC (https://www.newegg.com/evga-geforce-rtx-2070-super-08g-p4-3173-kr/p/N82E16814487453)<br /><br />I had to take the heat sink off the m2 so it would fit under the Steel Legend m2 heat sink (big "U" shaped).<br />The GPU is so long it covers up the fan on the Steel Legend's U-Shaped m2 heat sink.<br /><br />I am considering just removing the Steel Legend U-Shaped m2 heat sink, disabling the m2 fan, put the heat sink back on the Corsair m2 drive and plug it into the second m2 slot.<br /><br />Or what would you do?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Shirva33<br />]]>
