No problems Everything works. However, I then found that that I can change the sata settings in the bios from ahci to intel rst raid. aiming for best possible performance I Tried it, but it wouldn't boot. I remember the same situation when changing from ide to sata, however, then there was a way around it. I read somewhere that it was possible to boot in safe mode first and then as normal. However, I wouldn't be surprised if that resulted in a whole host of misery. Probably the right way to do it is to clone averything back to the ssd, change the ahci mode to intel rst raid (guess that it doesn't matter that it is raid), and then clone back to the m2 drive. Any other settings I need to change in BIOS? If I do all that will I still be able to see my sata ssd in windows? Hope someone has been in a similar situation and can help me out here.]]>
