Possibly changing settings and voltage will get it working. It is best to stay with product on the QVL
Author: xenosaga01
Subject: 13332
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 at 6:52pm

Hello, I am trying to figure out something regarding this motherboard and ram compatibility.
The motherboards BIOS version is currently 2.10. Its running Windows 10 Home Edition 64bit. I just bought a new set of Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800). The actual part number for the ram is: CMK16GX4M2D3600C18

I can?™t seem to get this ram to clock to 3600MHZ. I?™ve changed the settings in the bios from Auto and set it to use the XMP 2.0 profile and set the clock speed to be 3600 but it seems to stay set at 2133mhz. It has an Intel Core I7 6700K processor which is set to performance mode. Any help in understanding what I may be doing wrong or if it?™s a compatibility issue?

Thanks for the help
