Author: ENT_DocY
Subject: 13371
Posted: 06 Jan 2020 at 10:34pm

Hello all
I have an x370 professional gaming MB.
Until BIOS 4.8, I had no issues (except that it wouldn't accept my memory at its advertised speed, I had to run it at 2800 instead of 3000. not an issue, I didn't mind).
However, I then very stupid updated to BIOS 5.8. At that point, it REFUSES to respect the fan curves. The cooler fan (I use a Coolermaster Masterliquid Lite 120), wavers, speeding up, slowing down etc.
I have tried the silent profile, I tried the standard profile.
I set custom settings, putting it at 50% for any temp under 60 degrees. Still does the same thing.
I noticed if I run F-Stream, it kills the fan, and makes it silent. BUT F-Stream seemed to have totally screwed up my system, and made it unstable, to teh point where I had to reinstall Windows. So I refuse to use F-Stream anymore.
Can anyone help?
FTR, if anyone from ASRock reads this, this is the last time I buy an ASRock MB. I will stick with Asus and MSI in future.
