Author: gdanbo
Subject: 13404
Posted: 10 Jan 2020 at 12:39am

Hello. Yesterday I finally finished my new PC build, plugged everything in the PC and turned it on. First I booted to Windows to make sure everything's okay (I'm using the hard drive from my previous PC so it already had Windows on it).
Then I rebooted and when the ASRock screen appeared I pressed DEL to go to BIOS but instead of BIOS, the monitor displayed an error 'OUT OF RANGE' and I couldn't do anything. I then booted to Windows again and tried installing drivers for the graphics card, it required me to reboot and when I did it said 'OUT OF RANGE' when trying to boot to Windows too. I somehow managed to update the drivers through safe mode but the error in BIOS stays.
I already tried resetting CMOS by connecting the two pins of the jumper with a paper clip, but that didn't help. I'm going to try to reset CMOS by removing the battery but I doubt it'll fix. Any suggestions?
