Hello there, I have a trouble with my z370pro4 m/b, and intel i7-8700k. My cpu always dropping frequency. I tried all things to prevent it. I did last update of bios 4.30, and after frequency always dropping from 4.5 to 4.2 hz??Before this update I was able to fix this by AVX ratio offset - AUTO, Long/Short duration power limit -AUTO, CPU voltage - fixed mode, CPU C state - OFF, Enhanced halt state - OFF, CPU thermal throttling - OFF, intel speed step/ speed shift technology - OFF, and windows power management - MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE.
So nothing could drop my cpu frequency down, but any way It happen... Whenever I set AVX ratio offset to 1 , it bring me minimum quantity of frequency dropping. Could you help me fix this trouble? How I can totally turn off this frequency leak? Last time I installed new ddr4 ram with 3200 hz, and after this I've noticed this frequency leak...
