Crucial asserts that ram in 100% compatible with the Z68 Extreme4 motherboard.

I can pick any two 8GB sticks and populate the same colored memory banks and the system boots, but if I use all four 8GB sticks simultaneously the system powers up, spins its wheels for about 5 seconds, powers off, and the powers up. There the process goes into an endless cycle.

I am running the latest BIOS. I have have cleared the BIOS memory.

I am looking for suggestions to get this system working at 32GB.

Thoughts anyone?

Note: my motherboard is NOT the GEN3 variant also I am running a 2600K cpu.
