Bluetooth on m.2 WiFi cards are all USB anyway.
Author: eccential
Subject: 13627
Posted: 03 Nov 2024 at 6:14pm

I'm not sure which WiFi module your X370 Fatal1ty Pro came with. Maybe Intel AX200? They should all be compatible, so you could try a newer AX210. Intel models ending in 1 (e.g. AX211) won't work with AMD CPUs, so avoid those.

I rarely use WiFi from a desktop, so I pull them out from motherboards that come with one. Thanks to that, I have a collection of old WiFi/BT cards, and I've swapped them among computers before and they all seem to work fine. For example, X470 Fatal1ty ITX/ax came with an AX200, so I put that in a Framework 13 laptop.

The only unfortunate things is that you'll almost certainly have to take the motherboard out of the case to get to the two small screws at the bottom, in order to replace the WiFi card. Looks like X370 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming is even more complicated!

I've been having Bluetooth issues as well. My bluetooth headset and xbox controller connect fine at the start then after 10 mins of gaming my controller and Bluetooth headset disconnect. I cant figure out what is the reason behind it.

My drivers are up to date. Could it be the Bluetooth hardware itself if so what model is it for my motherboard and where can I find a guide on how to remove the existing one and install it safely?
