Thank you for posting your query to ASRock forum.

Regarding your question about WiFi, we have checked with 7260 and it can work properly.

Please try the suggestions below:
1.Please make sure that the Wifi driver in the following link is installed.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28621/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Intel-Wireless-7260-Family?product=75439

2. Once installed, please make sure that Antennas for the WiFi is connected to the WiFi card.

3. Kindly disable other WiFi devices connected to your router and try.


If the problem persists, kindly contact the store where the board was purchased from to check the motherboard for you.

Like many others I'm having issues with M.2 wifi cards and getting them to work in my system that is based on the J5005-ITX motherboard.

I have installed two different M.2 Wifi cards in my J5005-ITX motherboard with the same results, the wifi portion of the card cannot start (Code 10). The two wifi cards I've installed are the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, and the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265.

I troubleshot the 7260 with tech support after pulling my hair out uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, wiping the system clean and reinstalling everything, and any other suggestion I could find in the forums that people had success with. After giving up on the 7260 I moved on to the 7265 and got the same results.

My BIOS is the most current on the website (1.40), are these wifi cards not compatible or is there a specific card I should be getting that will definitely work with this motherboard and windows 10 pro?

Additionally, the Bluetooth portion of these cards worked just fine...but never the wifi...
