This is normal as the temps just drop back down into the 60s gaming. Idle now on the desktop 33-36c.]]>

I tested it with the game I play the most Guild Wars 2 which is way more CPU bound. This is the temps in game: https://ibb.co/yVh2P1j  It stays in the 60s with only a very brief spike in the 70s then drops down within 1 sec back into the 60s. I'm fine with it :D]]>

These dips may be brief, and that's okay. Load voltages of around 1.2-1.3V are perfectly okay also. This is the processor working as expected."<br /><br />So let me get my new thermal paste and reseat the cooler and see if anything changes]]>

While gaming it goes to 1.488 - 1.500 which is the normal voltage for a 3700x. Well once the new thermal paste comes I will reseat the cooler and see any changes. My vcore: https://ibb.co/ByLqtPG<br />I was just thinking that 79c was in a spike, using MSI RTSS my temps are in the 60s and sometimes touch the 70s but drop as soon as they hit the 70s.]]>

Would also like to add that I have PBO disabled, it's running at stock. Though it does boost on its own to 4.250 - 4.375. XFR off as well, C-states enabled. ]]>
