Dear Zipperok,

Thanks for posting your query to ASRock forum.

For this motherboard, you will need to boot the system first in order to update the BIOS.

Thus, CPU is required.

For 9100F CPU, you will need BIOS 4.20. We would recommend checking with your motherboard distributor to see if the BIOS on the motherboard is updated.

Hello,

Can I update my BIOS without using my CPU (i3-9100F)?
I haven't build it yet (next week I will), but I want to be ready.
What should I do if it doesn't work?
