Solved. It was an external temperature sensor, which in contact with the VRM heatsink produced some current derivation which disabled the intel NIC.

Hello

The intel I211 has stopped working suddently. When connected to the swtich, the lights indicate its connected in 100mb/s mode (orange light), but neither Windows nor Linux dected the device.

It was working properly after the Windows Update to 1909. I have update the BIOS to latest version, but still no response from the Intel card. It does not appear either in device manager or in lspci.

any tips or should I return the motherboard?
