what video card are you running and why don't you use the outputs of your video card to run a dual monitor setup?

...have you read the manual for your motherboard? If you want to use your APU in conjunction with your discrete video card .. your video card has to be an AMD card .. per the manual

Dual Graphics
This item appears only when you install AMD RADEON graphics card on
this motherboard. Use this to enable or disable Dual Graphics feature. If
you enable this option, the primary monitor will be onboard VGA. If you select [Auto], Dual Graphics function will be automatically enabled when you
install AMD RADEON graphics card.
