I am not sure but it could be something to do with the BIOS trying to enable
PCIe 4.0 on your board and failing when both cards are inserted. Check through

Hi
I have upgraded from 1600x to 3900x and I had sli with my old build. Now after several hours I managed to boot with 3900x normally with the latest BIOS 6.20 but only with 1 card. No boot when 2 cards inserted. No special indications on Dr Debug coolers working fine and then going idle, system flowing but no signal and no connection of the keyboard. I use 1080 Ti and another one with higher frequency.
