So the system POSTs, attempts to boot then freezes during boot. I am afraid I can't
suggest anything based on that very limited info.

Its impossible to help without specs and system details. Your post reads like someone
saying "my car is broken, help" and then not mentioning what is broken, the model of
car or the fact that they have been trying to run it on diesel when it's a petrol

Hi
I started having problems with my pc over a year ago (using another since).
If I can remember correctly it was working then blue screened and wouldn't boot again. I was getting ready for a bit of a clean up and upgrade so I ordered and installed a new SSD and tried putting Windows7 on it. It goes through to nearly finalizing but then stops I think(sorry it's been a year).
I have juggled my memory sticks about with no success whilst loading windows and that I think was all.
It's been a great build since around 2012 and would rather try and repair it than upgrade.
Oh USB3s have never worked but was too scared to do that bios stuff.
