In general, the CPU EDC will fluctuate depending on the system load.

For your question, we have some suggestions to verify:

1. Please enter BIOS setup and load BIOS default setting.

2. Under OS environment, please open Control Panel > Power Option and adjust the power plan to AMD Ryzen Balanced or Balanced.

3. Install the latest AMD ALLin1 driver ver:19.10.16_19H1_WHQL.

4. Please make sure there's no process operating in OS background to occupy the CPU resource.

5. If possible, please reinstall a clean Windows OS to verify OS environment.

6. If possible, please install another CPU.

Dear, my 2700X processor is always run at 100% EDC, I do not overclocking or other setting, it just get full CPU usage. I own B450 Steel Legend just two day.
