   <title><![CDATA[Beta BIOS L1.24 X99 Extreme4/3.1 :  Found today a beta BIOS at Asrock...]]></title>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1455">ziko</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1411<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 03 Dec 2015 at 8:05pm<br /><br />Found today a beta BIOS at Asrock Europe.<div>L1.24</div><div>Flashed it and finaly, my GEIL DDR4 3000 RAM is working at 2933 MHz</div><div>WITHOUT triggering the BLCK to 125MHz.</div><div>BLCK stays at 100MHz and only the RAMs runs at higher Speed.</div><div>All prior BIOS trigger the BLCK to 125MHz and my System wont boot.</div><div>124MHz did the magic and system boots up but stays allways overclocked.</div><div>Intel speedtstep is disabled.</div><div>V1.0, V1.1 and BIOS V1.2 are faulty.</div><div>I also had severe bootproblems with that versions.</div><div>The board forgets the workin UEFI Settings and boots, after switching off the power, straight into UEFI.</div><div>Repaced battery, BIOS B, there is no working setting for&nbsp;sure booting.</div><div>And the horrible boot time with my old Revodrive 3 X2.</div><div>Now, with the new Samsung SSD 951 NVME its normal, with enabled FAST boot Option.</div><div>The Revodrive worked flawless in my old X79 system and now in my wifes new PC with Asus X99-A/USB 3.1 board.</div><div>Currios, right?????</div><div>Suggest to all&nbsp;X99 Extrem4/3.1 to Flash this beta&nbsp;BIOS.</div><div>And last point, &nbsp;i am very, very disappointed with my&nbsp;Asrock board.</div><div>My first and for sure, my LAST Asrock product.</div><div>Ist my mistake and mispurchase.</div><div>NEVER Asrock!!!</div><div>Will try now to go with this board till next hardware upgrade.</div><div>My seller want to&nbsp;replace it with an Gigabyte board during RMA.</div><div>But there is no need for RMA, the new one will be exact the same.</div><div>With all the unnecessary half-finnished and stupid errors i have mith my current board.</div><div>The internet is full off boot problems with this model.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Sorry, but i have no better rating for Asrock Extreme4/3.1.</div><div>Will see how the beta BIOS works, for now its much better.</div><div>Have a nice day and greetings from Switzerland.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by ziko - 03 Dec 2015 at 8:07pm</span>]]>
