Intel brand (Not Killer, MYQo&*#&hof, etc.) Sold by Mobile Computing Solutions, full filled by Amazon, etc. The seller seems as though they've been around for longer than a year but I don't think that means they weren't duped when they purchased their stock. My next step is likely to return it and order a new card through Mouser. I have some other project bits I need through them anyway so I might as well since they're closer to the component manufacturers and sell to system manufacturers, etc. If I have the same persistent issues, then....oh well? lol

    Author: DindgleDodger
Subject: 14243
Posted: 29 Apr 2020 at 1:43pm

First off system configuration:

X570m Pro4 BIOS v. 2.60
Ryzen 3800X
4 x 8gb Corsair Vengeance 3600
GTX 1080 (not that this changes anything bios or system wise)
970 EVO 500GB (running as boot drive)

Windows 10 1909

So I wanted to get some Bluetooth action out of my board and installed the infamous Intel AX200 on the onboard M.2 wifi slot. With the Bluetooth module I get about 6-8 inches of range out of it with absolute garbage lag. Also when installing the wifi drivers I get a Code 10. I've tried this several times uninstalling devices and removing the drivers, restarting, trying again. Then did the same but changed the bios configurations for onboard devices. I cycled through device installation/uninsallation with onboard WAN and BT both enabled and then disabled mixed, etc.

With BT enabled in the bios the Bluetooth device appears and disabled it disappears (big whoop).

Conversely, with WAN enabled the ax200 wifi throws a Code 10 but disabled it appears fine but I'm unable to turn it on in windows settings.

I've tried updating the drivers to the latest Intel drivers and updating the x570 chipset drivers straight from AMD.

It's fairly aggravating and I'm not sure if there's another BIOS setting I should be considering (I know it played a huge role or if the chip I bought was busted, etc.)

I've gone through a few forum posts on this but nothing has helped now have the symptoms been similar.
