Author: njwheele
Subject: 14271
Posted: 02 May 2020 at 5:48am

I just installed a 500 GB Samsung 970 EVO NVMeM.2 to my ASRock B350 Pro4 motherboard, which already has a 250GB Samsung 960 EVO and a 2TB SATA HD. Windows does not identify the new SSD in Disk Management, so I tried installing the newest Samsung NVMe driver, but that did not work. Then I went into the BIOS to see if the motherboard was recognizing the SSD, and I found that all four SATA drives are recognized (with only one applicable) but that only ONE M.2 drive was recognized. Does anybody have any ideas about what might be the issue here? Should I try updating the BIOS driver?

Thanks,
Nick
