    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5435">datonyb</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 14306<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 May 2020 at 10:09pm<br /><br />the boards still work with later bios<br />the warning is to stop people flashing bios when they dont really need to <br /><br />your case ...<br /><br />you have to flash bios with 2700 to fit the 3800 after <br />its really a simple fact of life <br /><br />now what you can do to help you along the way <br />have the flash file loaded on a smaller slower BUT TRUSTED usb drive <br />say 2-4 gb <br />RESET YOUR CURRENT BIOS TO DEFAULTS !!! ( this is very important)<br />i personally like to have JUST ONE stick of ram in slot a2 to minimise the chance of data errors<br />then <br /><br />flash to version 2.00 first THIS IS A REQUIRED STEP !<br />then select the later matisse (ryzen 3000) bios version you want <br />id advise 3.43 or higher <br /><br />restart enter bios check everything looks good <br />shut down refit other ram sticks <br />reboot to bios check all ram seen by bios<br />safe exit <br />goto windows ,check its all booted happy <br />restart to bios and now set the ram xmp etc ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=16000">Paisatronix</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 14306<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 May 2020 at 9:17am<br /><br />Hello.<br /><br />I currently have a Taichi X470 Mobo running with Ryzen 2700x and 3200mh memory.<br /><br />It has Bios version P1.50 and it runs fine.<br /><br />I got a hold of a Ryzen 3800x and i was about to update the BIOS to the latest version but im hesitating because all the warnings and red letters.<br /><br />i dont want to spend the whole evening trying to restore my bios if i mess up.<br />I also dont plan to overclock my cpu or ram.<br /><br />can anyone recommend a stable version of BIOS for Ryzen 3700X and 3200Mhz Mem?<br /><br />Thanks.]]>
