    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=16094">Mike99</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 14393<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 15 May 2020 at 9:00am<br /><br />Sorry for the duplicate posting, I put this in the wrong forum earlier.<br /><br />I just bought a B365M Pro4 mobo & have a question about the M.2 slots, which I?e never worked with before.<br /><br />Which M.2 slot should be used for the boot drive, M2_1 or M2_2 ?<br /><br />The Quick Install Guide & the User Manual state: If M2_1 is occupied by a SATA-type M.2 device, SATA3_0 will be disabled.<br /><br />That would seem that M2_1 could go either way & be considered a universal drive for booting.<br /><br />OTOH is a shared slot recommended for a boot drive?<br /><br />Which is the BIOS usually set for by default? ]]>
