I've tried the following steps:
1. Removing GPU and connecting monitor directly to mobo
2. Booting with only 2 sticks of RAM
4. Booting with only 1 stick of RAM (tried each combination of the 4 sticks and the 4 slots)
5. Clearing CMOS
6. Double and triple-checked all cable connections to and from PSU

Hope they will work for you as well!
I just purchased an asrock z390m pro4 and I'm trying to get it to boot in a test bench like configuration. I only have the cpu, intel i5 9600k, cpu cooler and 2x8 gb of g skill trident ram installed. The cpu cooler fan runs but nothing else happens. Even this will turn off every few minutes. This is my first asrock motherboard so I'm not familiar with them. Am I missing something or what can I try to get it to boot?

Edited by ASRock_TSD - 22 May 2020 at 12:12pm
