Author: Xaltar
Subject: 14564
Posted: 03 Jun 2020 at 3:30pm

You can try enabling XMP then manually setting the RAM frequency to, lets say
2666 then save and exit and see if that boots for you. If it boots and is stable,
run something like Cinebench R20 to get a quick gauge, then go back into the BIOS
and bump the frequency up one tier until you can't get it to POST anymore then go
back down to the last frequency that POSTed.

There are ways to try and manually tune the RAM and try to get the 3200 (and beyond)
to work but you will need some patience and a good guide. The process is rather
involved. My above suggestion is a quick fix that will get you better performance
than 2133 at the very least.

Edited by Xaltar - 03 Jun 2020 at 3:32pm
