Okay. How would I do this?

I don?™t have a Win10 install disc, just a flash drive. Hey

I?™m at my wits end here. I have been trying to get my computer up and running for a week now. I built a new custom rig and installed my hard drive from the previous incarnation. Everything seems to load up fine. I can use my usb mouse and keyboard to navigate through the UEFI and make changes. But as soon as it switches to Windows, the lights on both keyboard and mouse go out and I cannot login.

I know the keyboard and mouse work.

I have tried using a ps/2 converter to get around the USB ports but nothing happens. I have tried using the windows install disc but as soon as it gets to the screen asking for which language to use the keyboard and mouse are dead again. I have tried using a fresh install of Windows 10 from a USB and that crashes as soon as it loads windows. I have gone into the Uefi and disabled the XHCI controllers and the USB ports continue to stop working.

I?™m running Win7 64bit home premium off of a 1tb HD
16gb ram
An ASRock B450m-hdv r4.0 micro atx am4 mobo
With a AMD Ryzen 3 3200g 3.4ghz
GPU is some old Nvidia GeForce 700-ish
