I OC both in BIOS or in Windows depending on which PC I am using.

I found it stable and convenient to have A Tuning app in Windows to OC my Gen1 Ryzen chip on this PC. So yes I will contact Asrock Tech support to see if a solution can be provided. I am considering to use Ryzen Master instead

I always prefer overclocking from the
BIOS, it is much more versatile than OS based overclocking. Take a look for
some guides on setting up custom P-States etc if you really want to have some fun
fine tuning your system so it boosts to your OC when needed but drops down
to low, energy efficient clocks when idle or under light load.

Edited by Xaltar - 26 Jun 2020 at 2:30pm
