When I updated to version 3.2 the problem with Phantom Gaming Tuning went away. I suspect that Asrock eliminated the problems Theodorick noted in the v3.0 and v3.1 version of the bios when they released v3.2. I suggest updating to bios v3.2 to see if that works before reverting to v2.6 in order to eliminate the problem of having Phantom Gaming Tuning note that "this utility is not for this platform". it seems to be an issue only with bios v3.0 and 3.1, not v3.2.]]>

I think I may have finally figured this out, and it should help others with different motherboards. When I updated my bios from 2.60 to 3.00 and then 3.10, I noticed that on the boot post screen it no longer says "P2.60". I has some alphanumeric string instead in both 3.00 and 3.10. I reverted to 3.00 and had the same "not for this platform" error. When I went back to 2.60 (and the "P2.60" in the boot screen, the utilities all work!!! Seems the utilities are looking for a bios version in the "PX.XX" form, NOT the alphanumeric string that was introduced in newer bioses. Hope this may help someone.]]>
