Author: edkozuto
Subject: 14881
Posted: 08 Jul 2020 at 6:36am

So, I had my build working for some time, but recently (almost after the guarantee expired) th mobo got to bootloop.

I had the most recent BIOS installed, the R5 3600 in stock settings and 2*16GB sticks of RAM @3200 with tweaked timings. All of a sudden, the pc just turned off and I haven't seen the POST since then.

It just boots for 30 secs, CPU fan is spinning, the CPU itself is heating, but the screen is blank.

What've been trying so far:

CPU reseat (it's working in other mobo, though)
CPU swap for A6-9500
RAM reseat (it's working in other mobo, too)
RAM swap for some low speed Patriot 8GB 2133
CMOS clear via jumper
CMOS clear via battery
PSU swap
Out-of-the-case boot
And even, oh lord, BIOS flashing with programmator by a professinal service man.

What he said is, the hub needs to be replaced. But I can't get it, how the chipset hub could be broken. It has no visual damage whatsoever, nor does the whole mobo.

I seek for any help. The only service guy in the city that could help with the repair refused to take this order. I can't RMA it because of both service period expiration and bios flashing with programmator (the bios memory needs to be desoldered for this).

I am located in Russia, and no official ASRock service is available here.

Maybe I need to check some voltages for certain elements on the mobo - I can do that, I just don't know which ones and what measurements are correct.
