Author: onali
Subject: 14898
Posted: 10 Jul 2020 at 12:27am

Over the weekend, I went out and bought a new Ryzen 3600 to replace my current Ryzen 1600. I came home, updated my BIOS on my Asrock AB350 itx motherboard to 6.00, switched CPUs, and it worked just fine. Yesterday, it began to constantly bootloop, rarely letting me get past the Windows login screen before restarting.

Current specs:
Asrock AB350 Fatal1ty gaming itx (BIOS 6.50)
Ryzen 3600
16 GB Gskill Ripjaws 4
MSI 1660 Super
Corsair SF450

Things I've tried:
Different set of RAM - no success
Putting the 1600 back in - success, works fine, but not the 3600
Adjusting RAM speed - no success
New version of windows - no success
Updating to newest BIOS (6.00 -> 6.50) - no success
Underclocking/volting CPU - no success

Would really like to fix this issue without having to get a new X550/570 board
