Author: WellComp
Subject: 15049
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 at 7:28pm

I've been having problems with my PC and I think it may be motherboard related. My PC has not been running properly for a while so I did a clean install of Windows 10 2004, installed all updates and drivers from Windows Update and everything seemed fine until the computer went to sleep. When I woke it up all I got was a white screen with a cursor. I managed to Shutdown the computer using the keyboard and when I booted again everything seemed fine. The next time it woke from sleep there was a strange pattern on the screen so again I used the keyboard to Shutdown. Next I installed the Adrenalin 2020-20.4.4 driver which seems to have fixed the wake from sleep problem but later in the day the computer froze. The Windows Reliability Monitor recorded an Hardware error "LiveKernalEvent" at the same time as the freeze but I don't know what it means.
Can any one help please? I've thought about updating the BIOS but don't want to risk it unless necessary.

BIOS

Current Display driver

Hardware Error

Wake from Sleep image (hopefully fixed after updating display driver)
