Is the 900 series from asrock format. Also all my pins are straight. downlaod from amd the 900 seriers chipset drivers and try reinstalling them. if there no change then you may have burnt out the usb chipset from a bad device or a bent pin in the usb port.

ASRock 970A-G/3.1 The USB ports not working, Building it from scratch. Keyboard not working as well as mouse. Old style mouse works, but the old style keyboard does not. I have no way to download operating system, I disconnected every thing and plugged everything back in and still not working.
