All the regular Ryzen CPU's do not come with a graphic chip inside so you must use a separate discrete graphics card mounted preferably in the upper PCI Express slot on the motherboard to get a picture on the monitor. You should not use the HDMI or Display Port port on the back of the motherboard since it is of no use to you. When you have a separate GPU you should connect the HDMI cable into the back of that card.

If you do have a discrete GPU already and it is not working then something might be wrong with the system which requires further examination.
