I have a similar problem, when i turn on my pc, i can?™t use the usb ports or any ports on the motherboard, but i can use my LED Light Room strips that also uses USB Port. I switched and tried all USB ports for the LED and it worked, but not my Keyboard, Mouse or anything. The red light that shows up is under the ?œDRAM??Section. Hey guys, I tried using new ram, which was Corsair vengeance 16 gb, 2666 MHz. However, this didn't end up solving my problem. My motherboard still has a breathing red type of effect. I'm not sure if it's a post status check code or not. None of the post status check lights come on to show me what is wrong with my motherboard. I think I might have found the solution. The ram I had bought is ddr4-3200, and the DIMM slots on the b365m phantom require ddr4-2666, 2400, or 2166. Also my bad, I should've reworded my last, last post. I just did that, but no luck. Is it possibly a faulty motherboard or cpu? When I ran all of my parts through PCPartPicker, it showed 259w for wattage, so I'm not sure if it is my PSU either. If the system boots, try checking if the monitor and monitor cables can work properly by plugging to a TV box or different PC.

Hey guys,
   The post status checker light also doesn't diagnose anything wrong with the PC. I tried all the suggestions and my brother was suggesting that I shorted something in the PC, since I built the PC in a room that has carpet. He was talking about static electricity, and although I built it on a large piece of cardboard placed on my bed, it might have been enough to short something. He also said that since my feet were in contact with carpet, it was able to transmit electricity through my hands. So when you press the power button nothing happens at all?
The board lights up so it's getting power, double check to make sure the Clear
CMOS jumper is not set to the clear position (this will not allow the system to
power on).

Make sure you have your power switch connected to the correct pins on
the front IO header, check your manual to be sure.

If neither of the above help, you may have incorrectly installed the CPU. Remove
