I still haven't found out what that is exactly but other monitoring software don't show high temperatures for my components. Also when i go into the BIOS my motherboard temps are totally fine. around 35 degrees celsius so i think you're good.

HW Monitor isn't always accurate either.

    Author: alusnova415
Subject: 15264
Posted: 20 Aug 2020 at 3:27am

Hi all,

Just built a computer, my motherboard is ASrock B450M/ac (AMD 3700x) and first thing I did was check open HW monitor to check temps and notice that Temp#4 is running between 79c-87c, while the other are 40cish, basically there seem to be a big gap between temps.

Does this mean one part of the MB is faulty?

I don't see an easy way to upload a picture here,so instead I'm going to write exactly what open HW monitor shows:

ASrock B450M/ac

-Nuvoton NCT6796D-R

-Temperatures Value Max

--Temperature#1 40.5c 42.5C
--Temperature#2 42.0c 43.0c
--Temperature#3 15.0c 15.0c
--Temperature#4 79.0c 87.0c
--Temperature#5 12.0c 12.0c
--Temperature#6 -19.0c -19.0c

As you can see I see a big difference and just wondering if this is normal?

Thanks for any advice.
