Have had them for over 2 years first in a asrock p67 extreme and then 2014 I bought an Asrock z75, didn't have a problem until recently.

At first I thought the rams were bad; so I tested them; on the z75 and the p67.

on z75, if all 4 slots are filled it won't boot , it'll boot with 2 or 3 sticks, but only 2 banks are recgonized (I forgot which 2). (I also tested with sticks I originally thought were bad, booted up just fine if there's only 2).

on the p67 only the first 2 banks filled will boot; if the last 2 banks are also filled I'll get boot code 45; which apparently doesn't have a definition in the manual.

so I have no idea what's going on.

I have also changed power supply and bought 2 sticks of new crucial rams just in case the ram or the PSU are dying, and same symptoms.

Edited by wenqdu - 10 Jan 2016 at 4:54am

Also the System Agent, or whatever it is called with Intel 7 series chipset processors (could be a Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge processor) could use a small increase in voltage.
Turn off the system, disconnect the power from the PSU then depress the power button to be sure it isn't carrying any charge then clear CMOS and remove the battery. Leave it like this for about 10 - 20 mins then put the battery back in and set the clear jumper back to its original position. Power up the system and then sync your time again, try different servers if you have to.
