I would like to note two things: This "issue" has only started happening with BIOS v3.00 and later and that my motherboard, X570 Pro4, has four leds (CPU, DRAM, VGA and BIOS). There is no need to show these numbers on boot screen. Users can see what the problem is by looking at the motherboard.

Anyway, thanks for clarification. I guess I can proceed to enable BitLocker on my computer.

Thanks to all.

MiH

They are there to help
with troubleshooting. If the system was to freeze during POST then the number the
system froze on would be the POST code of the test that failed (Power On Self Test).
If the numbers cycle through then the system begins to boot it means all tests
passed. Only a code that remains frozen indicates an issue. This also applies to
the debug display on boards that have them.
I adjusted the memory settings at every Bios update, but must say that the computer is very stable. Is this just a cosmetic bug? I would like to enable BitLocker but don't want to encounter some more issues. Speaking of BitLocker, make sure you disable Fast boot before proceeding to encrypt the drive, otherwise you won't be able to type the pass key at boot.

Thanks to anyone for help.

MiH

Not only that the bios splash screen has been resized and I can only see the top 2 options the bottom 2 are cut off. Bios version 3.00 and 3.10 also broke xmp, ram defaults to 2666mhz and I can manually set it to 3200mhz but it will not let me reach 3600mhz. I get the black screen of death. Considering reverting back to 2.60.

Skill memory and 5700XT graphic card. Updating first to BIOS v3.00 and then v3.10 I noticed text at the bottom right screen of the boot menu (near F11 option) which goes A2, then switches to B4 and then 98. This text only appears if Fast boot option is disabled. I wonder what that means, because the computer boots fine and is very stable.

Thanks to anyone for help.

MiH
