It makes no sense because on the Newegg description and the ASRock description of the B550 Phantom Gaming 4/ac it says there are two, one SATA and one PCIe.

As a resolution, I contacted Newegg and they are allowing me to return the M.2 drive which I will be replacing with a PCIe drive compatible with my Hyper M.2 slot. I imagine this will solve the issue!

You can see where it's supposed to be, but it isn't there. When I look at the description on Newegg (and on the ASRock site) for the B550 Phantom Gaming 4/ac it says there's two, but when I look on the box I received, it says there is only one! (Hyper M.2)

How is that even possible? Did they manufacture it with Hyper only at first and I have an old model or something? In any case, it is advertised with both slots on the Newegg purchase so I'm going to contact them right away.

You are awesome Reset! Do you have any idea why mine wouldn't have both slots?

Serial # D7M0XB365556
Part # 90-MXBDZ0-A0UAYZ

It's the only drive hooked up to the motherboard.

I tried moving my GPU to the second PCIe slot in case the M.2 slot shared resources with the first PCIe slot but that didn't fix the issue.
