Reset again, set the speed manually and it loaded windows but did the weird computer reset.
Then I set the timings manually and it still reset so I just put my old ram back in.

RAM not seated proplerly ... or video card .. if you are past return window with retailer, AMD offers RMA services for CPU's if it is faulty.

I've run all kinds of RAM ..mostly stuff that is not on the QVL list with an X470 Master SLI, B350 Fatal1ty Gaming ITX/ac.. and current X570 Steel Legend(All from ASRock) and all ran RAM at at least XMP using 3000 series Ryzen chips without issue. Even my wifes ASUS B350.

WTF?!
I tried XMP profile
I tried manually doing the timings
I tried just setting the speed and leaving the timings auto.

Before this I tried another set from the QVL and it would not post even with a bios reset.

Why in 2020 is it SO hard to get memory that just works?! This is insane.
Is the problem my CPU, does AMD offer trade-up or something?
