IIRC you need the FULL Intel PROSet install from Intel for your i219 for this to work.

And then, again IIRC, there's a setting you need to enable in PROSet.

You must download this directly from Intels download site.

Bump Up -- Does anyone have any ideas why this UEFI is not supporting the S5 wake up on Lan. If you read up on Deep Sleep it states that it works for S4/S5 and yet S5 is not working only S3 is working.

I have an ASUS Motherboard on my Media Server built 3 months ago and that works in both S3 and S5 mode. Did I choose the wrong company to go with for this build ????

I am having trouble with the Wake Up On Lan options. I can get power to the Lan Port when the system is in Sleep mode, so the Wake Up On Lan works. When the system is Shutdown mode there is no power to the Lan Port and Wake Up On Lan does not work.

I have tried about every option in bios/uefi that I can think of. I think I got it to work once when I had  Boot From Lan option turned on. Since I cannot seem to get it to work anymore I am beginning to doubt that. Here are the options I have set now. Some of which I have tried in the On and Off positions. Wake Up On Lan from a Off state is important since I travel a lot for work and need to get access to the machine. I like to link up with my router and use the wake up on lan feature then attached to the machine to access files.

The setting following the ===> is my current setting

Deep Sleep  ===> DISABLED
Conigure deep sleep mode for power saving when the computer is shut down.



Restore on AC/Power Loss ===> POWER ON

Select the power state ater a power failure.
If [Power Off] is selected, the power will remain of when the power
recovers.  If [Power On] is selected, the system will sta rt to boot up
when the power recovers


Suspend to RAM   ====> AUTO
Select disable for ACPI suspend type S1. It is recommended to select auto for A
CPI  S3 power saving



ACPI HEPT Table  ====>  ENABLE
Enable the High Precision Event Timer for better performance.



PS/2 Keyboard Power On  ====> DISABLE
Allow the system to be waked up by a PS/2 Keyboard.



PCIE Devices Power On   ====> ENABLE
Allow the system to be waked up by a PCIE device and enable wake on LAN.


Ring-In Power On       =====> DISABLE
Allow the system to be waked up by onboard COM port modem Ring-In signals.


RTC Alarm Power On     =====> DISABLE
Allow the system to be waked up by the real time clock alarm. Set it to By OS to let
it be handled by your operating system.


USB Keyboard/Remote Power On  =====> DISABLE
Allow the system to be waked up by an USB keyboard or remote controller.


USB Mouse Power On    =====> DISABLE
Allow the system to be waked up by an USB mouse.



Boot From Onboard LAN    =====> DISABLE
Allow the system to be waked up by the onboard LAN
