    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=17333">awatz</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16220<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17 Sep 2020 at 11:48pm<br /><br />i put a samsung 960 evo m.2 drive into this board using a m.2 to pcie adapter. it is on pcie5.<br /><br />benchmark tests this around 2100-2700 MB/s, but i see people on amazon get 3000 or so. relatively speaking vs sata ssd that's still pretty fast. <br /><br />i've also tested it in safe mode to try to make sure as little as possible activity is going on during a test.<br /><br />on top of a slight benchmark test concern...<br /><br />if i have this hooked up to a pcie slot am i sacrificing the throughput of my nvidia 1070 by occupying pcie lanes? maybe it is just a matter of which trade off you prefer.]]>
